Author Biography

Tom Sims

Tom Sims is a poet, workshop facilitator and creative writing graduate from Leeds Beckett University. His writing explores themes of class, masculinity, and neuro-divergence and how the three interweave into a collage of modern life. this past year Tom has been writing a collection titled "So what do you do for money?" performing at open mics around Leeds, coaching the latest cohort of Leeds Beckett spoken word performers and judging this year's Leeds poetry Anthology submissions. this piece comes in two parts and investigates the issue of issues surrounding the working class and their attitudes and access to poetry and the performing arts.
